With the project "Development and Improvement of carob cultivation in Spain" we try to improve the multiplication of the carob tree, using the technique of micro grafting, producing a grafted plant quality and competitive prices.

We promote new planting carob machinable with a series of plots, which serve as models for Mediterranean farmers who practice "part-time farming," and who are interested in this culture.
We also retain and study carob Mediterranean biodiversity, in order to select ecotypes that improve the productive potential of future plantings.

Through an agreement with a nursery in Almeria, EiG select varieties of pods that fit the market demand, so we promote investment in research and development.
